As\u00ed lo dio a conocer la secretaria de Salud P\u00fablica Distrital, Miyerlandi Torres Agredo. <\/p> \n <p> Ante esta situaci\u00f3n, la funcionaria invit\u00f3 a las EPS e IPS a trabajar en conjunto,\u00a0de cara a garantizar el cumplimiento de la ruta de atenci\u00f3n para estas patolog\u00edas. <\/p> \n <p> Con corte a la \u00faltima semana epidemiol\u00f3gica de 2021, en la capital del Valle del Cauca se registraron\u00a0731 casos\u00a0de\u00a0c\u00e1ncer de mama\u00a0y\u00a0388 de c\u00e1ncer de cuello uterino, lo que representa un aumento de 49,7% y 73,9%, respectivamente, en relaci\u00f3n con 2020. <\/p> \n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n <p> \u201cHemos venido trabajando y haciendo un an\u00e1lisis epidemiol\u00f3gico de carga de la enfermedad alrededor de este tema. Se identific\u00f3 que el diagn\u00f3stico de c\u00e1ncer de mama y de cuello uterino ha aumentado por encima del 73%, comparando las cifras de 2021 con 2020. Asimismo, est\u00e1 por encima del 30% de casos identificados comparado con las cifras que ven\u00edamos manejando en 2019\u201d, detall\u00f3 la Secretaria de Salud de Cali. <\/p> \n<\/blockquote>\n <p> Lo anterior significa que se ha empeorado en la oportunidad del diagn\u00f3stico. \u201cY lo m\u00e1s preocupante, hemos aumentado en un 15% la identificaci\u00f3n de c\u00e1ncer en estados avanzados\u201d, agreg\u00f3 la funcionaria. Por lo anterior, anunci\u00f3 que se har\u00e1n esfuerzos para mejorar la atenci\u00f3n y el diagn\u00f3stico oportuno de los pacientes. <\/p> \n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n <p> \u201cVamos a trabajar con las EPS en la verificaci\u00f3n del cumplimiento de las\u00a0<em>Rias\u00a0<\/em>y del seguimiento de los pacientes que han sido diagnosticados con c\u00e1ncer de mama, cuello uterino, pr\u00f3stata, de colon e infantil.
